Support moms are there to listen, support, and coach the new mother or mother-to-be with her breastfeeding concerns. Your support mom may have personal experience to share as she has kids of her own. To become a support mom, one must have breastfed for at least three months, take the seminar, and attend monthly meetings.
To become a support mom or to be referred to a support mom, please contact Naznin Hébert, RN, IBCLC, or at (450) 445-4452, extension #2435.
The Moms For Milk Support Group gets together outside meetings on a regular basis for activities such as holidays, conferences and shows, breastfeeding sit-ins, etc.
